About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, cloud environments, and deployment processes. The Senior DevOps Engineer will help automate software delivery, improve system reliability, ensure security and scalability, and work closely with development teams to support efficient and high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Manage cloud platforms, containerized applications, and infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure high system availability.
  • Implement security practices, backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Optimize infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with software development, QA, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
  • Evaluate and implement new DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving DevOps processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell, and experience with Git version control.
  • Good understanding of networking, system monitoring, logging, security best practices, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage production environments and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
